Itinerary Details

Day 1: Hanoi – Ba Be National Park by Bus (Dinner)
Meet at Hanoi Opera House at 6:20 AM or 12:30 PM for your bus journey to Ba Be National Park (approx. 5 hours). On arrival, enjoy a welcome tea at Ba Be Legend Hotel. After check-in, relax and explore the surrounding area at your own pace before dinner. Overnight in Ba Be.

Day 2: Boat Trip on Ba Be Lake (Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner)
After breakfast, set out on a full-day boat trip to explore Ba Be Lake. Visit An Ma Temple on a lakeside islet, cruise along the Nang River, and stop at a Tay ethnic village. Continue to Dau Dang Waterfall for lunch before discovering the vast Puong Cave, home to bats and stalactites. End the day at Widow Island (Po Gia Mai) for swimming and sunset views before returning to your hotel.

Day 3: Trekking in Ba Be National Park (Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner)
Enjoy breakfast, then begin a 14–16 km trek through Ba Be’s pristine landscapes. Walk through Na Kieng Village to see Tay farmers at work, then head to Na Co Valley for panoramic rice terrace views. Take a picnic lunch at Wildflowers Mountain (winter) or continue towards Don Den Village (autumn) to meet the H’Mong people. Return to the hotel for dinner and overnight.

Day 4: Ba Be National Park – Hanoi (Breakfast, Lunch)
After breakfast, visit Hua Ma Cave with its impressive stalactites, followed by a stop at Silver Waterfall and Na Le Rice Terrace. Have lunch at a local restaurant before boarding the bus back to Hanoi. Arrive at the Hanoi Opera House (near Hoan Kiem Lake) around 6:00 PM.
