Itinerary Details

Day 1: Hanoi – Ba Be National Park by Bus (Dinner)
Meet at Hanoi Opera House at either 6:20 AM or 12:30 PM to board the bus directly to Ba Be National Park (approx. 5 hours). Upon arrival, enjoy a welcome green tea at Ba Be Legend Hotel, check in, and have dinner at the hotel’s restaurant. Spend the evening relaxing or taking a short walk around the lakeside area. Overnight in Ba Be.

Day 2: Full-Day Trekking in Ba Be National Park (Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner)
After breakfast, begin your full-day trekking adventure (14–16 km). Start by passing Na Kieng Village, home to the Tay ethnic people, where you’ll observe traditional farming practices. Continue to Na Co Valley, meeting Dao school children and admiring panoramic rice terraces. Break for a picnic lunch on Wildflowers Mountain (especially beautiful in winter).

In the afternoon, trek toward Don Den Village, inhabited by the H’Mong people, known for their hospitality and curiosity. Expect warm interactions and memorable photos. Return to your hotel around 5:00 PM for dinner and overnight in Ba Be.

Day 3: Ba Be National Park – Hanoi (Breakfast, Lunch)
After breakfast, explore the nearby highlights of Ba Be:

Pac Ngoi Village – Tay stilt houses along the lake.
Hua Ma Cave – filled with impressive stalactites and stalagmites.
