Ms. Ma Thi Cu, Vice Chairman of the People’s Committee of Ba Be District, highlighted Ba Be’s mountainous terrain boasting diverse and unique tourism resources. Ba Be Lake stands out as a renowned landmark within Ba Be National Park, showcasing pristine natural scenery and a primitive forest system. With attractions like Hua Ma Cave, Tham Phay Cave, and Dau Dang Waterfall, Ba Be Lake offers a wealth of ecotourism sites, historical relics, and culinary delights, all contributing to socio-economic development.

Despite gradual tourism growth in recent years, Ba Be has yet to fully leverage its potential due to resource shortages and insufficient investment. However, there’s vast potential for ecotourism development, necessitating practical plans, traditional village restoration, and investment in local tourism products. Mr. Pham Van Thuy emphasized the need to transform Ba Be’s cultural values into attractive tourism offerings, focusing on green products, spiritual tourism, and adventure tourism.

For sustainable development, Bac Kan Province must prioritize tourism human resource training, policy formulation to attract investors, and destination management. Mr. Pham Duy Hung underscored the importance of infrastructure reinvestment and tailored tour development within the Ba Be area.
